This outlines support available to help you access and complete the Maths Champions programme.

Where needed, we will work with you to identify practical approaches that feel manageable and suit your needs.

General programme
Videos and written text	Videos and text explain each programme step.	Use both to support completion.
Word documents	Most documents are downloadable Word files.	Adjust font, colour or spacing, or use Read Aloud/text reader tools.
Learn at your own pace	The 12-month timeline lets you work at a manageable pace, with reminders.	Note where you stopped or take a screenshot. Set aside time so activities are not rushed.
Learn with someone else	Working with your Maths Champion/Deputy Maths Champion may help you talk through ideas.	Agree which parts to complete together.
Online training
Audio support for online training	Step 3 training can be read aloud and is not timed.	Open in Microsoft Edge and press Ctrl + Shift + U.
Course summaries	Each Step 3 course has a summary booklet.	Download booklets instead of making detailed notes.
End of Course Quizzes	Quiz attempts are unlimited.	Keep the course open in another tab to check answers.
Support from Early Years Adviser
Six bespoke catch ups	Up to six catch ups are available by Teams or phone across the programme.	Use catch ups to support completion.
Ongoing support and contact	You can contact your Early Years Adviser by email or phone.	Get in touch when needed.
Meeting records	If needed, meetings can be recorded, transcribed or summarised.	Speak to your Early Years Adviser.
Break the programme into small chunks	Your Adviser can help you focus on one step at a time.	Plan catch ups around the programme timeline.
Screen sharing	Your Adviser can share their screen to guide you.	Use Teams so screen sharing is available. Have the programme open to follow along.
Questions and checking understanding	You can ask questions and check anything unclear.	Use email or catch ups to ask questions.
