  • Welcome to the Maths Champion programme.

    Mandatory Induction Session

    In order for NDNA to draw down funding for your place on the Maths Champions programme it is a mandatory requirement that the Maths Champion attends a live induction session or watches the induction recording below.

    This induction session provides Maths Champions with an overview of the programme, a clear understanding of how to complete each of the programme steps and an outline of the additional resources and support that is available to you whilst on programme.

      Thank you for joining our exciting Maths Champions programme, we hope you and your team enjoy this experience. You are joining a group of early years professionals who are focussing on improving children's maths outcomes by developing practitioner’s knowledge, skills and confidence, enabling them to provide a maths rich environment and exciting experiences for children and families. 

      Programme Outline 

      As an NDNA Maths Champion you will support your team to evaluate and develop their knowledge, understanding and practice in relation to early year’s mathematics in order to increase their confidence in supporting and teaching children in this area.  

      You will support staff to develop an enabling environment resulting in high quality maths experiences being available throughout the day, providing children with the best possible start in their mathematical development.  

      We are very much looking forward to working with you.
